Gnoseed in Claude
Add Gnoseed as a connector and the daily quiz plays inside the conversation — a real card you answer, not a wall of text. Its seven questions are drawn from the whole catalogue: 6,613 questions across 69 decks. Ask for a topic instead and you get a round from that deck's published questions, and Claude picks up where you went wrong.
Add it to Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors in Claude, then Add custom connector.
- Paste the URL below and confirm.
- Start a new chat and ask for today's Daily.
https://gnoseed.com/mcp/serverCustom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans. There is nothing to sign in to and no key to paste — the connector serves public content only.
What to ask
- “Play today's Gnoseed Daily”
- “Quiz me on Kubernetes”
- “What Gnoseed topics are there for Terraform?”
- “What Gnoseed cards am I due to review?”
What it does
| Play today's Daily — the same seven questions everyone gets | The set is identical for every player and changes at midnight UTC. |
| Practise one topic | A short round from that deck's published sample questions. |
| Get the explanation after you answer | Including the documentation link the card was written against. |
| Have Claude follow up on what you missed | The card tells Claude your score and weakest topic, so it can suggest a round. |
What it doesn't do
| It works without an account | No sign-in and nothing to configure. Connect a Gnoseed account only if you want your own scheduled cards and your answers to count. |
| Signed out, it records nothing | Answers are graded and forgotten; your streak and review history stay in the app. Signed in, an answer counts exactly as it would on gnoseed.com. |
| It does not sync your progress | A round played in Claude does not affect your spaced-repetition schedule on gnoseed.com. |
| It never sends the answer key up front | Questions arrive without the correct option; grading is a round trip to the server. |
Where the card appears
The interactive card renders in apps that support MCP Apps — Claude on the web and desktop, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT and others. Hosts without it, Claude Code included, receive the same questions as text and can still play the whole round; only the card itself is missing.
Privacy
Signed out, the connector stores nothing: it receives the id of the question you answered and the option you picked, grades it and replies — no account, no identifier, no row written, and every tool is read-only. If you connect your account, it can read the cards you are due and record your answers; you are shown exactly that before you approve, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings.
